Terms of Use

TempText (“the App”) is published by Minute Long Solutions, LLC (“we,” “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the iOS or Android app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

TempText is a temperature-driven anagram puzzle. You drag letter tiles on numbered spots to spell hidden words. Core solo play uses a bundled dictionary and works offline. Optional features include hints, ranked Elo, Progress history, dictionary definitions on solve, and Hot/Cold Relay multiplayer.

License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App, or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Ads and purchases

The launch apps include advertising. A $0.99 non-consumable in-app purchase (“Remove Ads”) removes ads. Payments are processed by Apple or Google, not by us. Refunds follow the App Store or Google Play refund policy. Restore purchases from Settings after reinstalling.

Hot/Cold Relay

Relay is optional. Spectators see warmth, then the solved word. Voice or video (where offered) is for people you choose to play with. Do not harass others, share illegal content, or attempt to disrupt rooms or platform services. We may disable Relay or related network features if they are abused or if a platform partner changes its APIs.

Your data

Solo stats, Elo, hints, and preferences stay on your device unless you export them. How we handle ads, purchases, and optional Relay permissions is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

Intellectual property

The App, brand, climate art, and software are owned by Minute Long Solutions, LLC. Puzzle words come from a bundled word list used for entertainment and vocabulary play. Dictionary definitions, when shown, come from dictionaries installed on your device or an external dictionary app — not from us republishing that text.

Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free play, dictionary completeness, or that Elo or Relay will remain available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Updates and termination

We may update the App and these Terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms. You may stop using TempText by deleting it. Deleting the App removes on-device history unless you previously exported it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise.
