TempText (“we,” “the App”) is published by Minute Long Solutions, LLC. This policy describes what the iOS and Android apps store and when they talk to the network.

On-device play

Solo anagram play uses a bundled dictionary. We store onboarding flags, length-pack preferences, hint balances, solve history, and ranked Elo on your device. We do not require an account for core play. Definition lookups use dictionaries already installed on the device; TempText does not republish or store definition text.

Launch waitlist

If you join the TempText waitlist, we store your email (and optional name) so we can send a confirmation link and a launch notice for the App Store and Google Play. You can unsubscribe from any waitlist email. We do not sell waitlist addresses.

Advertising

At launch the apps show ads. Advertising partners may collect device identifiers and usage signals to serve and measure ads, subject to their own policies and platform advertising settings. We do not sell personal information.

Remove Ads ($0.99)

A one-time in-app purchase removes ads. Purchase status is handled by Apple or Google. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Optional Hot/Cold Relay

If you start or join a Relay session, the App may use Game Center or Play Games, local Nearby / Multipeer networking, iCloud / CloudKit or Firebase rooms, and — on iOS Nearby sessions — microphone or camera for optional voice/video. Those permissions are requested only when you opt into those features.

What we do not do

We do not require sign-in for solo play, do not build a cross-app advertising profile of our own, and do not collect contacts or precise location for the puzzle itself.
