Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Minute Long Solutions ("we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of the SquareGlobe mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

Description of Service

SquareGlobe is a mobile puzzle game application that combines geography education with sliding puzzle gameplay. The App allows users to:

• Explore countries from around the world through interactive puzzles
• Solve sliding puzzles featuring country imagery
• Earn stars and unlock country badges
• Track puzzle-solving statistics and progress
• Purchase in-game upgrades using earned currency

Eligibility

You must be at least 4 years old to use SquareGlobe. If you are under 18, you represent and warrant that:

• You have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the App
• Your parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

User Accounts

SquareGlobe does not require you to create a user account. The App uses your device's iCloud account (if enabled) solely for the purpose of synchronizing your game progress across your devices. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and iCloud account.

In-App Purchases

Virtual Currency

The App uses in-game currency (Stars and Puzzles) that can be earned through gameplay. These currencies:

• Have no real-world value
• Cannot be exchanged for real money
• Cannot be transferred between users
• Are non-refundable

Upgrades

The App offers upgrades that can be purchased using in-game currency. These upgrades:

• Enhance gameplay features
• Are tied to your device/iCloud account
• Cannot be transferred to other users
• May be reset if you reset your game data

Refunds

All in-app purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

• SquareGlobe and all content, features, and functionality are owned by Minute Long Solutions
• The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App

Third-Party Content

The App uses images from Pixabay, which are subject to Pixabay's license terms. You may not use these images outside of the App without proper licensing from Pixabay.

Your Rights

• You retain ownership of any data you create while using the App (such as game progress and statistics)
• You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

Acceptable Use

You agree to use SquareGlobe only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Use the App to transmit any viruses or malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

CloudKit and Data Synchronization

The App uses Apple's CloudKit service to synchronize your puzzle statistics across your devices. By using this feature:

• You acknowledge that your data will be stored on Apple's servers
• You understand that data synchronization is subject to Apple's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your iCloud account
• We are not responsible for any loss of data due to iCloud service interruptions or account issues

Third-Party Services

Pixabay API

The App uses the Pixabay API to fetch images for puzzles. Use of Pixabay's services is subject to Pixabay's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for:

• The availability or quality of images provided by Pixabay
• Any changes to Pixabay's API or services
• Any issues arising from Pixabay's service

Apple Services

The App uses various Apple services (iCloud, CloudKit, App Store). Your use of these services is subject to Apple's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF RESULTS

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or other harmful components

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE
• PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE
• ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any) or $10, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Minute Long Solutions from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

Termination

By You

• You may stop using the App at any time
• You may delete the App from your device
• You may reset your game data through the App's Settings menu

By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Use the App in a manner that could harm us or other users

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting updated Terms in the App
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Providing notice through the App Store (if required)

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Minute Long Solutions operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Minute Long Solutions regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Game Progress and Statistics

• Your game progress is stored locally on your device and in Apple's CloudKit
• We are not responsible for loss of progress due to device issues, app deletion, or iCloud synchronization problems

Image Content

• Images used in puzzles are sourced from Pixabay and are subject to Pixabay's license terms
• We do not guarantee the availability, quality, or appropriateness of any images
• Images may change or be unavailable without notice

Updates and Modifications

• We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time
• We are not obligated to provide updates or maintain compatibility with older versions of iOS
• Some features may require the latest version of the App or iOS

Apple-Specific Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and us, not Apple
• Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
• Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App
• If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if applicable)
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms
