Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Serpent Words (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Serpent Words is a word strategy game for iOS devices. The App allows you to form words by connecting adjacent tiles in a snake-like path, compete against AI opponents, play with friends locally or online, and participate in daily challenges.

Age Requirements

Serpent Words is rated 4+ (Everyone) and is suitable for all ages. However, if you are under the age of 13, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services. Prohibited activities include:

  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights
  • Transmitting harmful or malicious code
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Harassing, abusing, or threatening other users in multiplayer modes
  • Using automated systems or bots to play the game
  • Exploiting bugs or glitches for unfair advantage
  • Impersonating others or providing false information

Game Rules and Fair Play

When playing Serpent Words, you agree to:

  • Play fairly and honestly
  • Not use external tools or aids to find words
  • Respect other players in multiplayer modes
  • Not intentionally disconnect or disrupt multiplayer games
  • Follow the game's built-in rules and mechanics

Violation of fair play rules may result in restrictions on multiplayer features.

Intellectual Property

The App and all content, features, and functionality are owned by Minute Long Solutions, LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our content
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Use our trademarks or branding without permission
  • Create derivative works based on the App
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices

User Content

Serpent Words does not collect or store user-generated content. All game data (words formed, scores, game history) is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

In multiplayer modes, game state data is synchronized between players, but this data is temporary and used solely for gameplay purposes.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information. Serpent Words does not collect personal data, use tracking, or analytics.

Third-Party Services

Serpent Words may use the following third-party services:

  • Apple Game Center: For online multiplayer matchmaking (optional)

Your use of Game Center is subject to Apple's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for Game Center's services or policies.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Minute Long Solutions, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Warranty Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the App or any part thereof at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time.

You are responsible for keeping the App updated to the latest version available in the App Store.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Uninstalling the App will delete all local game data.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved in the courts of Georgia, United States.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
