Local Data Storage

Serpent Words stores the following data locally on your device:

Online Multiplayer

  • We use Apple's Game Center service for matchmaking

Local Network Permission

For local multiplayer features, Serpent Words may request local network access:

  • Purpose: To discover and connect with nearby devices on the same Wi-Fi network
  • Data: Only game state synchronization data is transmitted
  • Scope: Limited to devices on your local network
  • Privacy: No data leaves your local network

You can deny this permission and still use all other game modes.

Third-Party Services

Serpent Words does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

The only external service used is:

  • Apple Game Center: For online multiplayer matchmaking (optional feature)

Your use of Game Center is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Serpent Words is designed to be safe for all ages. Since we do not collect any personal information, there are no special considerations for children's data.

The app is rated 4+ (Everyone) and contains no objectionable content.
