How does Orb Dash work?

Orb Dash is a side-scrolling arcade game where you control an avatar and collect colorful orbs from any direction. As you collect orbs, your avatar changes color to match the orb. Navigate through streams of orbs using simple drag-to-move controls and challenge yourself across seven unique game modes. Choose from five orb direction options, including the ultimate All Directions mode where orbs spawn from all four edges simultaneously.

What game modes are available?

Orb Dash offers seven game modes: Endless Mode (play forever), Time Attack (collect time orbs to extend play time), Avoid Color (avoid specific colored orbs), Collect Color (only collect specific colored orbs), Evade All (avoid all orbs), Score Challenge (reach target score), and Color Changes (achieve target color changes). Each mode offers unique challenges and scoring mechanics.

Does Orb Dash support multiplayer?

Yes! Orb Dash features full GameCenter integration for matchmaking and leaderboards, plus SharePlay support to play with friends during FaceTime calls. Compete on four leaderboards (Best Score, Total Score, Total Orbs, Longest Streak), send challenges to friends, and play real-time multiplayer games with up to 4 players.

How do I unlock sounds and avatars?

Unlock sounds by collecting orbs of specific colors. Progress through tiers: collect 10 orbs for Tier 1, 50 for Tier 2, and 100 for Tier 3. Avatar unlocks are tracked through milestones. View your progress in the Profile section under Milestones. You can also purchase instant unlocks through optional in-app purchases.

Is my progress saved?

Yes! Your game statistics, achievements, milestones, and progress are saved locally on your device using Core Data and UserDefaults. All data is stored on your device and is not transmitted to external servers. You can view all your statistics within the App at any time.

What customization options are available?

Orb Dash offers extensive customization: three difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard), five orb direction options (Right to Left, Left to Right, Top to Bottom, Bottom to Top, All Directions), adjustable animation speed, orb spawn rate, scroll speed, avatar speed, four themes (Vibrant, Minimal, Dark, Light), sound effects, haptic feedback, time-based music selection, and custom sound assignments for each color category.

How much does Orb Dash cost?

Orb Dash is free to download and play. All core game modes, settings, and functionality are available immediately. The app offers optional in-app purchases to enhance your experience: Emoji Milestones Unlock ($0.99), Rocket Ships Unlock ($0.99), Projectile Clues ($0.99), Remove Ads One-Time ($4.99), and Remove Ads Subscription ($1.99/month). The app displays advertising through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), which can be removed through purchase options.

Can I play offline?

Yes! Orb Dash works completely offline. All gameplay, statistics tracking, and features function without an internet connection. You only need internet connectivity for GameCenter multiplayer features, SharePlay, and downloading in-app purchases.

How are statistics tracked?

Orb Dash tracks comprehensive statistics including total score, best score, orbs collected, current and longest streaks, color collection stats, avatar color preferences, daily activity trends, and detailed game history records. All data is stored locally on your device using Core Data and UserDefaults.

How do I unlock avatars and projectiles?

Unlock avatars and projectiles through gameplay milestones. Progress through milestone tiers by collecting orbs and achieving goals. You'll unlock premium emoji avatars and rocket ships as you progress. You can also purchase instant unlocks through optional in-app purchases: Emoji Milestones Unlock ($0.99), Rocket Ships Unlock ($0.99), and Projectile Clues ($0.99).
