What is AreaAware?
AreaAware is an educational game that helps you learn and practice area calculations through interactive gameplay. It includes four game modes (Shape Game, Board Game, Combined Game, and Multiplayer Game), a dedicated Area Calculations practice from Home, 10 built-in shapes, a custom shape creator (Create tab), and comprehensive statistics including multiplayer match history—all stored locally on your device.
How much does it cost?
AreaAware is free to download. The app may show occasional interstitial ads. An optional Remove Ads in-app purchase ($1.99 one-time) permanently disables all ads. Restore purchases is supported in Settings → Remove Ads.
What devices are supported?
AreaAware runs on iPhone and iPad. Minimum iOS 16.0+ (required for Swift Charts and StoreKit 2).
Is my data private?
Yes. Statistics, progress, and custom shapes are stored only on your device. We do not collect or transmit your data to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I reset my data?
Open the app → Settings. Reset All Data clears area-game statistics only (with confirmation); it does not clear multiplayer match history. To clear multiplayer match history, go to the Stats tab and use the Reset Multiplayer option in the toolbar (with confirmation). You can also reset onboarding from Settings.
What is the Multiplayer Game?
Multiplayer Game lets you play locally (same device, pass-and-play or timed) or with nearby devices (MultipeerConnectivity). Stake your claim on the biggest region before time runs out. Presets: Standard, Quick, Long. Match history and stats appear in the Stats tab.
