How do I merge emoji halves?
Simply drag matching emoji halves together. When you see a green glow effect, it means the halves can be merged. Release to complete the merge and create a full emoji.
What are the different game modes?
MojiJoin features timed challenges with customizable durations (30, 60, 90, 120, or 180 seconds). You can also choose from 7 different emoji categories for varied gameplay.
How do achievements work?
Achievements are unlocked by completing specific goals like reaching certain levels, scoring milestones, or playing all categories. Check the Achievements screen to see your progress.
Can I play offline?
Yes! MojiJoin is completely offline. All your progress, statistics, and achievements are saved locally on your device.
How do I view my statistics?
Tap the Statistics button on the main menu to view detailed analytics including high scores, emoji completion history, and category-specific performance.
What's the difference between categories?
Each category has different emoji types and scoring multipliers. Faces (1.0x), Animals (1.2x), Objects (1.3x), Food (1.1x), Nature (1.4x), Activities (1.5x), and Symbols (1.6x).
Troubleshooting
Common issues and solutions
App Won't Launch
Solution: Make sure you're running iOS 15.0 or later. Try force-closing the app and reopening it. If the problem persists, restart your device.
Gameplay Issues
Solution: If emoji halves aren't merging properly, try restarting the game. Make sure you're dragging matching halves together and look for the green glow effect.
Progress Not Saving
Solution: Ensure you have sufficient storage space on your device. The app uses CoreData for local storage. Try closing and reopening the app to trigger a save.
Audio Issues
Solution: Check your device's volume settings and ensure the app's sound effects are enabled in Settings. Try toggling the audio setting off and on.
Performance Issues
Solution: Close other apps to free up memory. Restart your device if the game is running slowly. Make sure you have the latest version of the app.
Reset Game Data
Solution: If you need to start fresh, go to Settings and use the "Reset All Data" option. This will clear all progress, scores, and achievements.
