Shape Game
Calculate area with multiple choice questions. Shapes appear with a grid overlay; count cells and select the correct answer. Detailed explanations for every answer.
Board Game
Identify regions on boards with correct areas. Five board styles (Classic, Spiral, Islands, Fractured, Skinny Snakes). Tap regions and submit your answer.
Combined Game
Match shapes to highlighted board regions. Decide if a shape will fit the highlighted area. Yes/No answers with visual comparison and feedback.
Multiplayer Game
Local pass-and-play or nearby device play (MultipeerConnectivity). Stake your claim on the biggest region before time runs out. Presets: Standard, Quick, Long. Match history and stats in the Stats tab.
Area Calculations
Dedicated area practice from the Home tab. Interactive grid-based area tools to build skills outside of game modes.
10 Built-in Shapes
Circle, rounded square, capsule, diamond, hexagon, ellipse, oval, pentagon, octagon, and star. All use a consistent 10×10 grid for area calculation.
Custom Shape Creator
Draw your own shapes and use them in games. Save, view, and delete custom shapes. They appear randomly in all game modes when available.
Statistics & Progress
Track accuracy, streaks, daily activity, and mode-specific stats. Multiplayer: match history, wins by player, mode comparisons. View charts and weekly performance. Restore purchases supported. All data stored locally on your device.

How much does AreaAware cost?
AreaAware is free to download. The app may show occasional interstitials (ads). An optional Remove Ads in-app purchase ($1.99 one-time) permanently disables all ads. Restore purchases is supported (Settings → Remove Ads).
What devices are supported?
AreaAware runs on iPhone and iPad. Minimum iOS 16.0+ (required for Charts and StoreKit 2).
Is my data private?
Yes. Statistics and progress are stored locally. Multiplayer uses local or device-to-device (MultipeerConnectivity) only. No data is sent to our servers. You can reset area-game data in Settings; multiplayer match history can be reset separately in the Stats tab.
